SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a study visit from Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten High School on Thursday (11/12/2025). The group's arrival was welcomed directly by Polines Director Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, ST, MT, accompanied by the Head of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation Suwarno, S.Sos., MIKom., at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) Floor II, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City.
In his remarks, the Director of Polines expressed his appreciation for the visit and emphasized Polines' commitment to expanding the reach of vocational education information.
"We are very pleased to welcome SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten. Polines is always open to schools interested in learning more about vocational education. We hope the students will see that vocational education is a strategic choice that can meet the needs of the industrial world," he said.
He also added that Polines continues to improve to provide the best learning experience for students. "We are improving facilities, strengthening industry collaborations, and enriching the curriculum so that Polines graduates are not only ready for work, but also ready to innovate and compete at the national and international levels," he added.

The representative of Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten High School teachers, Fathurssalam, also gave a speech and expressed his appreciation.
"We are truly honored to be welcomed in person by the Director of Polines. This welcome has been a great motivation for our students, making them even more enthusiastic about pursuing higher education," he said.
He also added that the visit provided new insights for the students. "Many of our students need direct information from trusted sources like Polines. Seeing the facilities and hearing explanations from the promotion team makes them more confident in their future study choices," he said.
After the speech, the event continued with a presentation of the Polines profile by the Polines Promotion Team, namely Rio Devilito, M.Pd., Roni Apriantoro, S.Tr.T., M.Tr.T., and Friska Ayu Fitrianti Sugiono, S.Si., MT. The team explained various majors, facilities, student activities, and career opportunities for Polines graduates. The presentation was delivered interactively and attracted the attention of the students.
The study visit was concluded with the handover of souvenirs and a group photo session as a symbol of the good relationship and friendship between Polines and SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten.
