This was conveyed by the Acting Director of the Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) Dr Karnowahadi SE MM when opening the Scientific Article Writing Workshop held by P3M Polines at the local campus, Wednesday (8/5/2024).
The workshop was attended by the Head of P3M Dr Kurnianingsih, P3M Secretary Sahid ST MT, lecturers and two main speakers, namely Dr Ir Noor Akhmad Setiawan (UGM lecturer) and Prof Dr I Wayan Edi Arsawan SE MM (Bali State Polytechnic lecturer).
"Through this workshop, it is hoped that lecturers will be increasingly able to write scientific journals. "Apart from the personal development of lecturers, scientific journal work by lecturers is also one of the main performance indicators (IKU) for higher education," said Dr Karno.
Apart from that, journal work is one of the special obligations of lecturers, especially those who hold the functional positions of Associate Professor and Professor, so that lecturer certification allowances are not reduced, postponed or postponed. (Sgi)
