SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) continues to intensify the promotion of New Student Admissions (PMB) by receiving a visit from SMA Negeri 1 Pajangan, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (15/12/2025).
The visit was welcomed by Dianita Ratna K., ST, MT, Deputy Director of Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems at Polines. In her remarks, she stated that Polines offers extensive opportunities for high school and vocational school graduates to pursue vocational education through various national and independent selection pathways.
"Polines offers admission through the National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP), the National Test-Based Selection (SNBT), and the Independent Selection. These three pathways provide fair opportunities for prospective students based on their individual potential and achievements," he explained.
On that occasion, the Polines Promotion Team consisting of Mona Inayah Pratiwi, SE, MM and Yusuf Hendrawanto, M.Pd. conveyed complete information regarding the Polines profile, majors and study programs, campus facilities, as well as an explanation regarding the Polines New Student Admission (PMB) pathway.
The presentation also covered the advantages of Polines vocational education which emphasizes practical learning, industrial collaboration, internship programs, and job opportunities for graduates in the business and industrial world.
A representative of teachers from SMA Negeri 1 Pajangan Bantul expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the outreach. They stated that the information regarding the SNBP, SNBT, and Mandiri pathways was very helpful in preparing students early for higher education.
The event was enthusiastically attended, marked by an interactive question-and-answer session with students. The visit concluded with a souvenir presentation and a group photo session between Polines and the SMA Negeri 1 Pajangan Bantul delegation.
