To Learn More About Vocational Education, State Vocational School 1 Kebumen Visits Polines

SEMARANG – State Vocational High School 1 Kebumen conducted a study visit to Semarang State Polytechnic on Wednesday (May 13, 2026). The group of teachers and students were welcomed by the Director of Polines, Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, ST, MT, at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) on the Polines Campus.

This visit provided an opportunity for students to get to know Polines better as one of the leading vocational colleges in Indonesia that is committed to producing superior, innovative, and work-ready graduates.

In his remarks, the Director of Polines expressed his appreciation for the visit. He stated that vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing human resources who are not only theoretically strong but also practically skilled and able to meet the needs of the business and industrial world.

“"At Polines, students are equipped with technical competencies, soft skills, and intensive practical experience. So, at Polines, it's 60 percent practical and 40 percent theory," he said.

On that occasion, participants received an explanation regarding the campus profile, study programs, New Student Admissions (SPMB) pathway, laboratory and workshop facilities, scholarship programs, as well as various student achievements at the national and international levels.

The event was interactive. Students from SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen enthusiastically asked questions about study program options, internship opportunities, student organization activities, and job prospects for Polines graduates.

Semarang State Polytechnic continues to welcome schools interested in learning more about the world of vocational education, as part of its efforts to expand access to information and foster a competent, creative, and prepared young generation to face future challenges.
