Strengthening Global Ties, Polines Partners with Yahia Fares University of Medea, Algeria

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) continues to strengthen its international network. This time, Polines has established a strategic collaboration with Yahia Fares University of Medea., Algeria, through its activities Guest Lecture & Sharing Session which is held, Friday (18/7/2025) took place in the Seminar Room of the Applied Masters Building (MST), Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT as Director of Polines, who in her remarks conveyed the importance of international collaboration in improving the quality of vocational education, research, and human resource development.

"This collaboration is a concrete step by Polines to build a global network, particularly in developing student exchanges, research collaborations, and improving the quality of education," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohamed Maazouz, Vice Rector of External Relations and Cooperation at Madea University, also offered a warm welcome, emphasizing the spirit of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties. He expressed his appreciation for Polines' welcome and readiness to establish an academic partnership.

This event was also attended by all Heads of Departments within Polines, which showed full support for the campus' internationalization initiative.

The collaboration between Polines and Madea University encompasses various strategic areas, including student exchange programs, research collaborations, and the development of globally oriented educational programs. It is hoped that this collaboration will significantly benefit the academic communities of both institutions and broaden students' international horizons.
