SEMARANG — Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a visit from Politeknik Negeri Bandung and Politeknik Kutaraja Aceh in the context of benchmarking activities to improve the quality of education and management of study programs at the Polines Campus Directorate, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (11/4/2024). The visit was welcomed by Deputy Director of Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dianita Ratna K., ST, MT, who expressed appreciation for the two polytechnics in strengthening collaboration between vocational education institutions.
Politeknik Negeri Bandung conducted benchmarking for the Finance and Banking study program, while Politeknik Kutaraja Aceh focused on the Accounting study program. In this meeting, each polytechnic presented the teaching methods and management of study programs applied in their institutions, as well as sharing experiences related to challenges and solutions in supporting graduate competencies.
Deputy Director Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems also shared information about innovations implemented in Polines to strengthen practice-based learning and the relevance of study programs to industry. It is hoped that through this activity, guest polytechnics can obtain various references that can be applied in improving the quality of study programs on their respective campuses.
This benchmarking activity reflects the commitment of the three polytechnics to improve the quality of graduates and strengthen synergy between vocational institutions to meet the need for competent workers in the fields of finance and accounting. (ang/Jul)
