SEMARANG — Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a visit from Al Hikmah 2 Welahan Islamic Vocational School, Jepara at the Integrated Lecture Building, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (11/4/2024). The visit was in order to introduce students to the vocational higher education environment.
On this occasion, Dra. Mardinawati, MM accompanied by the Head of the D-III Accounting Study Program Resi Yudhaningsih, SE, M.Sc., Head of the S.Tr. Managerial Accounting Study Program Mohamad Hasanuddin, SE, M.Sc., Akt. and Polines Public Relations Juli Widiyanto, SAP welcomed and provided an in-depth explanation regarding the Accounting study program offered by Polines, as well as various career opportunities that can be pursued by vocational graduates. The event was continued with a question and answer session, where students were very enthusiastic about asking about campus life, entry requirements, and job prospects in the accounting field.
After the welcoming speech and presentation, the group was invited to tour the campus around Polines, including visiting laboratories, classrooms, and other supporting facilities. Students were invited to see firsthand the practical activities in the Accounting laboratory, which provided a real picture of the practice-based learning methods applied at Polines.
This visit is expected to provide inspiration and motivation for students of SMK Islam Al Hikmah Welahan Jepara to continue their studies in accounting, as well as to get to know more about vocational education at Polines which prepares them to enter the world of work with appropriate skills.
