SEMARANG— Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a study visit from the Accounting Department of SMK Ma'arif NU 01 Limpung, Batang, Wednesday (6/25/2025). The group consisting of students and accompanying teachers were welcomed at the Integrated Lecture Building of the Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City.
The welcoming was carried out directly by the Deputy Director of Student Affairs and Alumni of Polines, Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM, accompanied by the Coordinator of the D-III Accounting Study Program, Resi Yudhaningsih, SE, M.Sc., and the Polines Promotion team.
In his remarks, the Deputy Director for Student Affairs and Alumni of Polines expressed his gratitude for this visit.
"We are very happy to welcome the visit from SMK Ma'arif NU 01 Limpung. Hopefully, this activity can increase the insight of the younger siblings about vocational education, especially in the field of accounting, and motivate them to continue their studies to a higher level," he said.
The activity continued with the presentation of materials by the Coordinator of the D-III Accounting Study Program and the Polines Promotion team. The students were introduced to the profile of the Polines Accounting Department, the study programs offered, the advantages of the accounting laboratory, and career opportunities for Polines graduates in various industrial sectors and financial institutions.
"Through this visit, we want to introduce the profile of the Accounting Department at Polines more closely, as well as provide an overview of the competencies that students will acquire to be ready to compete in the world of work," said the Coordinator of the D-III Accounting Study Program.
In addition to the presentation of the material, the activity was also filled with an interactive question and answer session between vocational school students and speakers. A warm and enthusiastic atmosphere was seen throughout the activity.
The activity was closed with the handover of souvenirs from Polines to SMK Ma'arif NU 01 Limpung and a group photo session as a symbol of togetherness and ties. ang
