SALATIGA – Director of Politeknik Negeri Semarang(Polines) Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, ST, MT held a friendly gathering and audience with the Mayor of Salatiga Dr. Robby Hernawan, Sp. OG., in the meeting room of the Salatiga Mayor's Office, Wednesday (3/12/2025).
This visit was carried out in order to introduce Polines as a state vocational college and to explore opportunities for collaboration between Polines and the Salatiga City Government.
The Director of Polines was accompanied by the Deputy Director for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs Dr. Karnowahadi, SE, MM, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department Abdul Syukur Alfauzi, ST, MT, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department Yusnan Badruzzaman, ST, M.Eng., Head of the Accounting Department Mohamad Hasanuddin, SE, M.Si., Akt., and Head of the Business Administration Department Yusmar Ardhi Hidayat, SE, M.Si., Ph.D.
During the audience, the Director of Polines explained the institution's profile, achievements, and the development of applied study programs that are oriented towards the needs of the business world and the industrial world.
Meanwhile, Salatiga Mayor Dr. Robby Hernawan, Sp.OG welcomed the visit and appreciated Polines' steps in building synergy with the Salatiga City Government.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. This audience is expected to be the first step in establishing cooperation between Polines and the Salatiga City Government to improve the quality of human resources and strengthen the role of vocational education at the regional level.
