Eldinnar, Never Absent, Achieves the Title of Most Disciplined Polines Graduate of 2025

SEMARANG – Eldinnar Indra Krishanti, a Diploma 3 Accounting student, earned the title of Most Disciplined Graduate at the 54th Graduation Ceremony of Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) in 2025. He is known for consistently attending every lecture without a single absence.

Eldinnar accepted the award with gratitude. He admitted he was both surprised and proud, not expecting his small, everyday efforts to garner such recognition.

"I just try to be consistent in attending class. It turns out this simple thing can yield big results," said Eldinnar.

From the beginning of college, Eldinnar was determined not to waste any learning opportunity. For him, knowledge isn't solely gained from books, but also through class discussions with lecturers and classmates. He employed various simple methods to maintain consistency, such as setting his class schedule as his phone wallpaper, maintaining a sleep pattern, leaving early, and even adhering to the principle of never skipping class.

The long journey from her home in Pendurungan to campus, the fatigue, and the occasional lack of fitness were challenges. However, the support of her parents, friends, and the motivational encouragement from her lecturers kept her disciplined until the end of her studies. "Even if I'm sick, I still go. I think it's better to be present than to have to deal with the hassle of getting permission papers," she said.

Eldinnar's discipline has proven to be very beneficial. Besides better understanding the course material, he feels closer to his lecturers and has learned to be responsible. This trait has carried over into the professional world. After interning at a public accounting firm, Eldinnar currently works as an administrative staff member at PT Cahaya Agung Cemerlang, which distributes Walls ice cream.

As a message to other Polines students, he emphasized the importance of building consistency from an early age. "Start with small things like being on time. Over time, it will become a habit. Don't do things half-heartedly; do everything to the fullest," he said.

When met at the graduation ceremony, Eldinnar's parents couldn't hide their pride. Her father, a retiree, and her mother, a teacher, expressed their hope that their youngest daughter would continue to uphold the value of honesty.

"We are very proud of his achievements. We hope that Eldinnar will be successful in the future and continue to uphold honesty in all things," said Eldinnar's parents, their eyes shining.

Eldinnar's achievements are proof that discipline is not just about attending class, but also a form of responsibility that will be useful in the workplace.
