SEMARANG – The Director of Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines), Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, ST, MT, inaugurated the Head of Department, Head of Unit, Functional Lecturers, Civil Servants (PNS), and handed over decrees to several employees within Polines. The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony took place at the Polines Campus Multipurpose Building, Tembalang, Semarang City, Wednesday (24/6/2026).
This activity is part of Polines' efforts to strengthen organizational governance and improve the quality of vocational education services by placing competent and professional human resources in various strategic positions.
In his remarks, the Director of Polines stated that the inauguration and oath-taking of office were not merely ceremonial, but rather a mandate that must be carried out with full responsibility, integrity, and dedication. He emphasized that the inaugurated officials were expected to make a real contribution to supporting Polines' vision of becoming a leading and competitive vocational college at the national and international levels.
“"The position you hold is a mandate that must be carried out with full commitment and professionalism. I hope all newly appointed officials can work collaboratively and innovatively, and continuously improve the quality of service to students and the public," he said.
In addition to the inauguration of the Head of Department and Head of Unit, the activity also included the taking of oaths/promises for functional positions of lecturers and civil servants as well as the handover of decrees to employees who received new duties and responsibilities within the Polines environment.
The ceremony took place solemnly and was attended by the leadership, academic community, and families of the inaugurated officials. This moment marked a strategic step for Polines in strengthening the organization and supporting the optimal implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
