SEMARANG – Politeknik Negri Semarang (Polines) received a visit from Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS) for a comparative study related to the management of the Career Development Center at the Directorate Building, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (11/11/2024). The group from PENS was welcomed by the Deputy Director for Student Affairs and Alumni Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM, Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dianita Ratna K., ST, MT and Head of UPA Career and Entrepreneurship Syahid, ST, M.Eng.
In his remarks, the Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems said that Polines continues to be committed to strengthening career services for students, through various innovative programs supported by collaboration with the industrial world and alumni.
"We really appreciate this visit and hope to learn from each other and improve the quality of student career services," he said.
The arrival of the PENS group led by the Assistant Director for Cooperation and Technology of PENS, Prof. Amang Sudarsono, ST, Ph.D. expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by the Polines career and entrepreneurship team, especially in building networks with the world of work that support the creation of competitive human resources.
"Thank you for the extraordinary welcome from Polines. We hope that both parties will share experiences regarding the challenges in managing a career development center," he said.
This visit is expected to strengthen the cooperation between Polines and PENS, while encouraging the improvement of career service quality for students in both universities.
