Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) has again achieved a national level achievement. At the peak of the celebration of the 96th Youth Pledge Day (HSP) in 2024 which took place at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta, October 28, 2024, Polines won an award as a Campus Suitable for Young Entrepreneurs from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI). Coordinating Minister for PMK Pratikno represented President Prabowo at the 96th HSP event. The event was attended by 25 high-ranking state officials, from Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and a number of Governors, marking the government's commitment to supporting the development of young entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
This achievement was achieved through the efforts of Misbakhul Arrezqi, SE., MM, a lecturer in the Polines Business Administration Department who won 2nd Place in the Campus Young Entrepreneur Activist, this award was given for his dedication and contribution in developing an entrepreneurial spirit among students, thus bringing Polines to become a Young Entrepreneur-Worthy Campus in 2024 from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This award is given in recognition of various programs and initiatives that have been implemented by the campus to encourage creativity and innovation among students in the field of entrepreneurship.
Misbakhul Arrezqi, who is also the Head of the Business Incubator at Semarang State Polytechnic, stated, “This award is not only for me, but also for all my friends and partners who have fought together in advancing entrepreneurship on campus. We are committed to continuing to work and innovate.”
For this achievement, Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT as Director of Polines admitted to being proud of this achievement. "Hopefully this achievement can inspire Polines lecturers and students to continue to excel." she said.
This achievement can be an important momentum for the younger generation to continue to contribute in creating opportunities and facing challenges in the world of entrepreneurship. Hopefully, this award will inspire more students to enter the world of entrepreneurship and provide a positive impact on society.
In the implementation of the 96th HSP in 2024, the Ministry of Youth and Sports gave several awards such as national youth pioneers in the fields of education, food, arts and culture, technological innovation and natural resources, environment and tourism.
Meanwhile, in the field of entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Youth and Sports provides several awards such as Regency/City Worthy of Wiramuda, Wiramuda Campus, Technopreneur, Edupreneur, Religiopreneur, Pesantren Worthy of Wiramuda, Sportpreneur and other entrepreneurial fields.
In addition, the Ministry of Youth and Sports also gives awards to outstanding, creative and inspiring youth. Plus outstanding scouting organizations and several others.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo said that Kemenpora is the home of youth, and is open to young people to convey brilliant ideas for the development and progress of Indonesia.
"The Ministry of Youth and Sports emphasizes collaboration from various parties to realize various development targets, especially in the fields of sports and youth.
