SEMARANG – Astra Daihatsu together with Polines collaborate to develop education and skills for the younger generation.
Through the Astra Daihatsu and Polines Mengajar 2024/2025 program, it is hoped that it will have a positive and sustainable impact, especially in the field of education.
Regional Head of Central Java DIY PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operation Andrianto Saudin said that this activity was a continuation of the previous year and this time it was carried out at a number of points.
"The activity starts from October 26 to February 1, 2025, so the duration is quite long, it can be prepared well and Polines volunteers can also transfer knowledge," said Saudin on the sidelines of the first kick off of the activity at the Central Java Social Service office on Jalan Pahlawan Semarang, Saturday, October 26, 2024.
This program will involve four locations, namely the Hati Bapa Foundation for the Disabled, Wira Adhi Karya Children's Social Service Center, Asa Edu Community, and Kaji State Elementary School.
In addition, CSR activities, which are one of Daihatsu's pillars, are also a form of commitment to the world of education.
Daihatsu has also collaborated with 170 vocational schools, in addition to five integrated health posts for CSR programs including mangrove planting in Tugu and turtle conservation in Kebumen.
Present on this occasion were Deputy Director of Student Affairs of Semarang State Polytechnic Aris Sunindyo, Head of Semarang City Education Office Bambang Pramusinto, Chairman of the Hati Bapa Foundation for the Disabled Timotius Joko Pramono.
In this first activity, children with disabilities had the opportunity to interact in the Astra Daihatsu and Polines Mengajar programs.
In addition to showcasing the abilities of people with disabilities, children are also invited to interact and play games.****
