Gong Strikes, Marks the Opening of Seminar Lecture Series and Grand Launching of Entrepreneur Merdeka Polines

SEMARANG – The Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) of the Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City, Tuesday (3/9/24) was filled with students and invited guests to attend a seminar. Lecture Series “Young Entrepreneurs” and Grand Launching of Entrepreneur Merdeka Polines. This event was officially opened by beating the gong by Septo Soepriyatno, ST, MSE as Director of Trade Business Development of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendag RI), accompanied by Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT Director of Polines and Eni Lestari, ST., MT. Head of the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Bureau of the Central Java Provincial Government.

In his speech, the Director of Polines emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship among young people, especially in supporting national economic growth.

"We hope that the Polines independent entrepreneurship program will be the starting point for the birth of creative and innovative young entrepreneurs from Polines," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Trade Business Development at the Indonesian Ministry of Trade gave his views on business opportunities in the digital era.

"Amidst the rapid development of technology and information, young people, especially students, have a great opportunity to innovate and utilize technology in running a business," he said.

This event was also supported by the Central Java Provincial Government represented by the Head of the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Bureau, as a form of synergy between the world of education, government and the private sector in creating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Lecture Series Seminar “Young Entrepreneurs” and the Grand Launching of Polines Independent Entrepreneurship are part of a series of programs aimed at encouraging Polines students to be braver in starting businesses in order to achieve economic independence.ang/jul)
