The Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) has opened new student admissions for the PT PLN (Persero) collaboration class for the 2019/2020 academic year. This pathway is intended for students/graduates of SMA IPA and SMK majoring in Aircraft Electrical, Power Generation Engineering, Electrical Power Network Engineering, Electrical Power Utilization Installation Engineering, Industrial Automation Engineering, Air Conditioning and Air Conditioning Engineering, Audio-Video Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering. , Telecommunication Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Autotronic Engineering.
Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT in his office, Tuesday (26/2) explained, this pathway was opened for education at the third diploma (D3) level in electrical engineering which was adapted to the needs of the engineering field at PT PLN. The department that was opened was Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Study Program (Concentration of substations / transmission and distribution systems).
"Through this class, it is hoped that graduates will be ready to work and develop their competence after being accepted as PLN employees," said Supriyadi. The available quota is 48 new students (2 classes).
Further explained, through this route, active lectures are only five semesters, apprenticeship or On Jobs Training (OJT) for 6 months at PLN and during OJT participants receive pocket money and insurance.
In addition, graduates immediately follow pre-service training as a prerequisite for being appointed as employees of PT PLN (Persero). Online registration takes place from 1 March – 11 April 2019 on the https://pmb.polines.ac.id/pln .
