SEMARANG – Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) is once again the destination for an educational visit, this time from SMA Negeri 1 Godong which held a visit to the Polines Campus. The activity held at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang, Tuesday (7/1/2025) aims to introduce high school students to the world of vocational education while providing motivation through the experiences of alumni.
The visit was officially opened by the Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dianita Ratna K., ST, MT who expressed her appreciation for SMA Negeri 1 Godong's initiative in introducing students to vocational higher education. In her speech, she conveyed the importance of vocational education as a solution in preparing skilled workers that meet industry needs.
"Polines continues to be committed to producing competent and competitive graduates. We hope that this visit can provide new insights for students to continue their education to a higher level," he concluded.
In addition, the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Godong Sarwaedi also gave a speech. He expressed his hope that students would be motivated to achieve higher education, especially in the vocational field.
A special moment of the visit was the “Alumni Speaks” session, where Agra, one of Polines students who is also an alumnus of SMA Negeri 1 Godong, shared her experiences about her educational journey at Polines. This session succeeded in providing inspiration and motivation for students to not hesitate to continue their education to a higher level.
"Polines is very disciplined, but fun. I hope all of you can get into the college you want, but getting into Polines is even better," he said.
