SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) was once again the destination for an educational visit, this time from SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten on Thursday (12/12/2024). The group consisting of students and accompanying teachers were welcomed by the Deputy Director for Academic and Alumni Affairs, Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM, at the Polines Campus Auditorium, Tembalang, Semarang City.
In his remarks, the Deputy Director for Academic and Alumni Affairs expressed his appreciation for this visit and emphasized the importance of vocational education in creating competent human resources who are ready to compete in the industrial world.
"Polines is committed to becoming an educational institution that supports the needs of the industrial world through the development of student skills and competencies," he said.
After the welcoming speech, the participants were given an in-depth introduction to Polines, starting from the study programs, facilities, to the various advantages of vocational education offered.
The accompanying teacher from SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten expressed his appreciation for the welcome given by Polines.
"This visit is very useful for our students to understand more deeply about vocational education and make it one of the options in continuing their studies," he said.
This visit activity is part of Polines' commitment to introducing vocational education to high school students, as well as strengthening relations with various educational institutions in Indonesia. ang
