Students of the D3 Business Administration (2022) Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines), again made achievements at the Central Java and DIY levels by winning the 1st place award in the event Essay Competition. This achievement was achieved by student Ardiah Umi Karimah who is currently in Semester 3.
The Nahdlatul Ulama (KMNU) Student Family is one part of a series of annual events in the context of the 9th Harlah of KMNU Diponegoro University, Semarang. Apart from the essay competition, KMNU UNDIP also held several other events such as a young preacher competition and a poster design competition. KMNU Undip Fest 2023, which was held this year, had the theme "The Role and Existence of Youth in Building Civilization."
To take part in this competition, each participant is required to write an individual essay covering one of three subtopics. Then, the participants were selected into the top 5 to be invited to UNDIP and proceed to the final round. This final activity will take place on Saturday, September 31 2023 offline.
Apart from assessing the writing aspect, participants must also be able to present in front of the jury guided by the questions provided. Preparation from participants is carried out three days before the offline presentation activity by preparing materials and presentation materials. Ardiah was able to convey ideas and answer all the jury's questions straightforwardly so that the hard work that had been done paid off, said Ardiah.
With this competition, the competition participants and finalists really hope to provide encouragement and support for students who are interested in the field of writing to convey their best ideas through their intelligence in thinking. "Fellow students, let's continue to be enthusiastic about working and making the campus proud," he concluded.
