News Narrative of the 2021 National Seminar (SEMNAS) Work Program, Electrical Engineering Student Association

One of the work programs from the Engineering Division of the Electrical Engineering Student Association of Semarang State Polytechnic is the 2021 National Seminar which this year has the theme "controlling Education (Control and Utilization of Learning Technology in the Pandemic Era)”. The 2021 SEMNAS activity is carried out with the aim that electrical students can become students who have critical thinking in the field of information technology by sharpening their image so that they are easily recognized by the public to face the world of lectures. This activity is carried out by on line use zoom meeting platform.

The SEMNAS 2021 activity involved the electrical community and the outside community totaling 300 participants which took place on Saturday, November 13, 2021. The 2021 SEMNAS activity was held annually. on line for all participants, while for the committee it is applied according to job desk which is given. A number of STOs of the 2021/2022 Electrical Student Association became the committee offline while still applying the applicable health protocols and a number of STOs of the 2020/2021 Electrical Student Association become the committee on line. This is intended so as not to endanger the safety or health of others and limit the presence of crowds.

On Saturday, November 13, 2021, the SEMNAS 2021 activities will be held through: zoom platform enter zoom and the event opens at 08.00 WIB. After the opening, this activity was continued by singing the anthem Indonesia Raya, remarks from the Chief Executive, remarks from the Chairman of the Association, and remarks from the Head of the Department of the Association of Electrical Engineering Department. Then continued the first attendance during the speech that was carried out by the 2021 SEMNAS participants. Then entered the core of the event which began with the introduction of the first speaker, namely. Mr. Heri Triluqman BS, M. Kom, M.Pd as a Lecturer of Educational Technology at UNNES and the second speaker, Mr. Hraso Adjie Brotosukmono. The outline of the two speakers discussed a deeper explanation education technology and related information technology in general education technology, then threats and challenges for students and young people, and their roles and benefits. At the end of each discussion material there is a question and answer session regarding material 1 and material 2. Participants are very enthusiastic about being given a session to ask the presenters. At the end of the activity, the presenter conveyed the conclusions and motivations to the participants and was followed by the distribution of the second absent link at the end of the activity zoom platform meeting. After that, the MC conveyed the name of the participant who got the door prize to contact contact person committee, the event ended exactly at 11.00 WIB.

The 2021 SEMNAS activity can run smoothly even though there are several obstacles and it is hoped that through this activity the participants can grow a critical personality and understand information technology, especially in the field of good educational technology.
