Students of the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) have made many achievements in welcoming the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy.
Polines students have proven to be skilled in various competitions and selections organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
This was mentioned by the Director of Polines, Prof. Dr. Totok Prasetyo B Eng(Hons) MT IPU ASEAN Eng ACPE at the peak ceremony of the 40th Anniversary commemoration at the Tembalang Campus.
"For example, in the 2022 certified internship and independent study selection (MISB) there were 104 Polines students who passed," he said.
The large number of students enrolled in this program makes Polines one of the top five polytechnics in Indonesia that send delegates.
In addition, the participation of Polines students at MISB increased sharply compared to 2021, which was only 20 students.
There were also students who passed the Vocational Edition of the International Student Mobility Award (IISMAVO) in four countries.
Participants were sent to Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
In addition, there are 287 Polines students for the 2022 Kominfo digital talent scholarship (DTS) program.
Apart from that, students have also made various achievements individually and in groups.
Most recently, Chaterine Widya Putri, a D-3 Business Administration student who won the 2022 Indonesian Friendship Princess.
Then also the Polines contingent who won two gold medals in the 2022 Indonesian Polytechnic Porseni event.
Then the first winner of the 2022 National Bridge Competition, and the first winner of the 2022 National Polytechnic English Competition.
These various achievements have strengthened Polines as a vocational college that produces excellent graduates.
On the other hand, this campus also received research funds worth Rp. 3.314 billion.
Then also patenting lecturer research products and increasing the number of international publications.***
