As seen 'on display', the PkM Polines Team with Dr. Hery Tristijanto, ST., M.Eng in collaboration with the Salimah Branch Management (Muslimah Brotherhood) Tingkir District, Salatiga, Sunday (28/8).

Members of Drs. Supandi, MM., Zaenal Abidin, ST., MT., and Padang Yanuar, ST., MT., this PkM Polines Team activity carries the theme 'Application of Technology in Making Eco Enzymes by Utilizing Household Organic Waste'.

Accompanied by the Head of PC Salimah, Tingkir District, Tri Ismiati, SE., the Head of the PkM Polines Team, Dr. Hery Tristijanto, ST., M.Eng said that the activities of a number of lecturers in the Mechanical Engineering Department were part of the TRI Darma lecturer.

"As is known, there are three TRI Darma lecturers, namely Research, Community Service and Education," said Hery Tristijanto.

And as one of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, PkM in Tingkir District, Salatiga, is motivated by the presence of abundant fruit and vegetable waste and rarely used by the community.

"In fact, we all know that organic waste can still be used as an ingredient for making eco-enzymes which have many benefits, such as plant fertilizer, bath soap, laundry soap and scrubs/cosmetics," he told RMLCentral Java

It can be seen that the women of Dasa Wisma Dukuh Macanan, Sidorejo Kidul Village and the administrators of PC Salimah with a total of 24 participants were enthusiastic about paying close attention to the stages of making eco-enzymes.

Patiently and deftly, the PkM Polines Team directed how organic waste which is usually thrown away and not looked at at all, 'fruits' something that is very useful and can even have economic value for improving the family's economy.

Hery and members of the PkM Polines team, Department of Mechanical Engineering hope that this community service activity can empower and increase knowledge in the manufacture of eco-enzymes from household organic waste.

"We hope that the community members, especially in Tingkir Subdistrict, Salatiga, will be able to increase their knowledge and skills in making eco enzymes from household organic waste," he added.
