Held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, this activity was attended by general students of the Semarang State Polytechnic with a total of 63 participants. The Outreach for Outstanding Students (Mawapres) was organized by the Semarang State Polytechnic Student Executive Board with the theme “Reach The Big Result with The Big Effort”.
The activity takes place on line for approximately 3.5 hours. Even though it is implemented on line but the participants followed the whole series of events with enthusiasm. It was proven by the interactive dialogue of participants about the Mawapres event itself. The presenters on this occasion are Mr. Wahyu Sulistiyo, ST, M.Kom. as the PIC of Mawapres and Muhammad Alan Nur as the 1st Winner of the National Achievement Student Diploma Program from the Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic (PENS).
The material presented in the Mawapres Socialization includes the background of the holding of the presidential election, the requirements for candidates for the presidential election, the selection stages as well as tips and tricks to prepare for the Mawapres Polines event which will be held from 1-12 March. Mawapres activities at the Semarang State Polytechnic itself were motivated by the need to revive an academic culture that has a balance between intellectual, emotional and spiritual intelligence among Semarang State Polytechnic students by spurring the desire to continue to grow and develop. Selection of Outstanding Students will be a representation of today's young generation, in addition to being required to have hard skills in the disciplines he studies as well soft skills in the form of leadership, problem solving and good English language skills.
