Education and training (Basic Education and Training) Class XXXVII is one of the mandatory activities at the KSR PMI Semarang State Polytechnic Unit. This activity is always held every year. This activity which aims to educate and provide training for members of young volunteer candidates in 2020 has the theme "Realizing Smart, Agile and Broad-minded Young Volunteers".
This theme is the hope that KSR members can become smart volunteers, smart here means being able to recognize the situation or problem well and know the actions to be taken. Agile means deft in doing something. Broad-minded means having broad insight into the red cross and humanity sciences.
Participants in this training are not only required to be experts in the material as well as in the red cross field, but they are also educated mentally and physically. "Because a strong soul or physique has a strong mentality too," said the Head of the 2020 Education and Training Executive, Irfan. According to him, physically trained to be ready to withstand the burden of victims or others of any weight. Likewise with mental, strong mentality can fend off all problems that come instantly, such as disasters and others that can shake the soul. And the hope for this 2020 Training and Education is that the knowledge gained can be useful and there are many records that will last until you become a member, said Irfan.
The Commander of KSR PMI Semarang State Polytechnic Unit, Afix Ardany Saputro added, the impression during the 2020 Diklatsar was full of challenges, where all the mechanisms had to adapt to current conditions, where training and education were usually carried out directly on campus, but because conditions were not possible it was made online. . The main salute to all the committee friends who have been able to adapt quickly, and can prepare for this activity as much as possible. And a message for friends from Generation 36 who will be the administrators next year, God willing, if things get better as usual, college campuses are already running, and student activities are running as usual, don't hesitate to ask the delegate 35 about the training mechanism directly. . If the impression is for cata 37, even though this training is carried out online with limited material provided, my message is to keep learning, looking for red cross knowledge from all sources. The hope is for the committee members to have online training, but it doesn't reduce inter-force communication, and if you make notes, hopefully with the limited supply of materials it doesn't reduce your curiosity about KSR and PMI.
The 36 Diklatsar 2020 committee also added that this activity has the principle that: Unity is strength, responsibility is trust, hard work is success.
