Broadcasting Basic Education with the theme “Dare to Speak, Share Your Quality"one of the program activities held every year by UKM New PLBS FM. For this year, it is carried out on line using media zoom meeting on Sunday, November 22, 2020. With the attendance of 132 prospective participants crew and 40 crew along with PLBS alumni. Broadcasting Basic Education itself is an effort to improve the quality of UKM activities New PLBS FM itself as well as student knowledge.
To become a crew, candidate crew must take part in Basic Education activities (Pendas Siar).
In this Broadcast Basic Education, participants will be provided with the basic knowledge from the world broadcasting such as increasing self-confidence to speak in public (public speaking) and trained to improve soft skills be a good radio announcer. It is intended that later candidates crew can develop and practice directly in the world broadcasting. As well as ca-crew who will join UKM New PLBS FM already has knowledge in the field of public speaking and broadcasting so that when it becomes crew trained and getting better.
The event was opened by the presenter, followed by remarks from the chief executive, the chairman of the PLBS UKM and the coach of the New PLBS FM UKM. For this year, PLBS presented speakers Jeffrey Nayoan, Maria Anatasya and the student president of Polines. After that, the event continued with presentations from each division about their duties and program of activities and took turns showing videos broadcast internship group of each candidate crew. The event ends with share from PLBS alumni to all candidates crew.
