One of the work programs of the Library Division of the Electrical Department, the Student Association of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Semarang State Polytechnic, is the Book Bazaar activity which is held twice during one management period. The first Book Bazaar activity was held in conjunction with the National Electrical Student Association Seminar on Saturday, November 21, 2020 with the aim of providing facilities for providing books for electrical students in particular and the general public as well as providing convenience in finding book references.
The Book Bazaar activity began with the screening of a promotional video for the 2020 Book Bazaar between the pauses in the National Seminar, which was followed by a dialogue explaining the details of the Book Bazaar system by two committee members of the 2020 Book Bazaar. home base HME. Promotional activities are carried out through Zoom platform and lasts for five minutes starting at 09.49 to 09.54 WIB. Pandemic conditions Covid-19 This resulted in the Book Bazaar activity being quite different from previous years, where this year there were no displays of books on decorated tables. Book Bazaar 2020 using the system Open Pre-Order by ordering via google forms which has been provided and lasts for 7 days starting from 21 – 29 November 2020. For participants in the National Seminar, Semarang State Polytechnic students, or the general public who are interested in buying books at the bazaar, you can view the catalog available at post Instagram @bazarbuku2020 or inquire about the availability of book stock with a certain title through the contact WA contacts available in the 2020 Book Bazar pamphlet.
The Bazaar activity this time was also interesting because it was held Give Away two titles that are currently popular, namely Goodbye from Tere Liye and Geez & Ann #3 from Rintik Sedu with terms and conditions applied. These terms and conditions include: participants must follow the @bazarbuku2020 Instagram account, distribute book bazaar pamphlets to instastory as well as marking the @bazarbuku2020 account on the post instastory, and write comments on posts Give Away which contains an invitation to read and tags five friend accounts. Give Away The bazaar lasts for three days, namely on November 21 – 23, 2020, then on November 24, 2020 participants will be chosen at random and the winner will be announced on November 25, 2020 through the Book Bazar Instagram account.
