Kitano Foundation Japan Gives Scholarships to Polines Students

This is the fourth time this scholarship award was given by the company and attended by the management of Kitano Foundation Japan and PT Indonesia Stanley Electric (ISE), namely Mr. Shinji Jo (Managing Director of Kitano Foundation), Mr. Makoto Ogawa (President Director of PT ISE), Suwanto (Director of PT ISE) and Heroica Budi (ISE HRD Manager).

The event was opened by Adhy Purnomo, ST, MT. (Police Deputy Director for Student Affairs), in the Multipurpose Room, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Thursday (29/8). Also present were department heads, lecturers, students and related parties.

Deputy Director for Student Affairs at Polines, Adhy Purnomo, ST, MT., welcomed the industry's initiative to support the education process in Indonesia in the form of providing scholarships for students. "Hopefully this scholarship will increase students' enthusiasm to continue learning," he said. The cooperative relationship between industry and Polines higher education institutions will continue to be strengthened. So that this synergy will also encourage the creation of graduates who are skilled, competitive and professional. In addition to scholarships, collaboration will be in the form of student internships/practices.

While Mr. Shinji Jo (Managing Director of the Kitano Foundation) in his speech said that the scholarship recipients were selected students and became the hope for the future. “I am very happy to be able to help you all,' he said in front of the scholarship recipients.

Next, Mr. Makoto Ogawa, President Director of PT ISE, said that his company is an industry that produces two-wheeled and four-wheeled automotive lamps for use by most of the automotive industry in Indonesia. Currently, there are 37 Polines alumni who have worked in the company. "We are very open for the best graduates of Polines to have a career at PT ISE," he explained. "The presence of Polines graduates also supports the company's business," he concluded.
