Polines Wins Fairly Informative Predicate from the Information Commission

The Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) has succeeded in qualifying as a public body in the fairly informative category by the Central Information Commission. This was marked by the receipt of an award at the 2018 Public Agency Information Disclosure Award. Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT received this award directly from the Central Information Commission at the Vice President's Palace, Jakarta, Monday (5/11).

The award was given as a form of appreciation and appreciation from the government together with the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia to Polines who had carried out the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information.

The Director of Polines said that this award was a sign of the seriousness of Polines in implementing Public Information Disclosure in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2008. “Of course we are very proud because this is a prestigious award in terms of information disclosure. Our efforts to improve and improve services to students and the community are appreciated. Especially the public information disclosure that is fast, transparent, and measurable," he said.

The Head of the Central Information Commission, Gede Narayana said that the awarding of Public Information Disclosure in 2018 was somewhat different from previous years which used a ranking system. At the Public Information Disclosure Award this time, an assessment of the information disclosure of Public Agency (BP) was carried out based on qualifications according to the range of values for public information disclosure. Starting from the highest qualification, the first group is BP Informative, the second is BP Towards Informative, the third is BP is Quite Informative, the fourth is BP is Less Informative, and the fifth is BP is Not Informative.

For the BP category, there are seven categories, namely BP Ministries, BP Non Structural Institutions (LNS), BP State Institutions Non-Ministerial Government Institutions (LNLPNK), BP State Universities (PTN), BP State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), BP Provincial Government (Pemprov), and BP Political Parties (Parpol).
