Developer Student Club (DSC) is a program from Google Developers designed to help students and students develop skills and knowledge in application development mobile and web. This program is open to all students and students with all levels of ability.
In this program, Google aims to provide a space for students and students to collaborate and learn together when solving problems in development mobile and web. Good developer beginners who are just starting to learn to those who have become developer Advanced levels who want to develop their skills can join this club.
As an opening activity, the DSC chapter of the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) in collaboration with the Polines Informatics Engineering Study program and the Polytechnic Computer Club (UKM PCC) Student Activity Unit will hold a Tech Talk. Veronika Putri Anggraini as DSC Leader The Polines chapter explained that the Tech Talk will thoroughly discuss four topics that will improve the ability of Polines students in the field of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Mobile Apps. "The four topics are DSC overview, Technology nowadays, Design thinking, and Google summer of code," said Veronika, who is also a student of the Informatics Engineering Department of Electrical Engineering at Polines.
This activity is expected to be followed by a series of product creations that will solve community problems and connect these products to local businesses and make these products valuable. This activity is also intended as the first step to guide students in creating works with Google standards so that they are able to advance to the Final Google Summer of Code 2018 and compete with other students from all over the world.
The Tech Talk will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 08.00 – 13.00 at the Cooperation Building, 1st floor (hall in front of UPT Bahasa) Polines campus.
