Another proud achievement was achieved by the Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) lecturer. Namely Mardiyono, S. Kom., M. Sc. (lecturer majoring in electrical engineering Polines) won an award as
best presenter at the 2016 International Technical Conference (ITC) seminar which took place in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, (6-8/12).
At this event, 6 (six) Polines lecturers presented their research papers at a seminar organized by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Chung Ang University Korea, and Polines.
Mardiyono, S. Kom., M. Sc. presented a paper entitled "Strategies and Roles of ICT in Maternity and Baby Care Ward using RFID Technology". This paper is the result of a leading research university (PUPT) Polines which is expected to be able to prevent kidnapping and exchanging babies with RFID and biometric technology. "Grateful for this award," he said.
Director of Polines, Ir. Supriyadi, MT who was present at this event, admitted that he was proud of the achievements of the Polines lecturers. "Hopefully it will spur the enthusiasm of Polines lecturers to produce research works that are beneficial to the community," he hoped.
At the seminar, Polines also presented keynote speaker Dr. Muhammad Mukhlisin (lecturer majoring in civil engineering at Polines) with a paper entitled "Measurement of Soil Moisture Water Content Using Dielectric Analysis Model". At the seminar, MoU and MoA were also signed between Polines and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The signing was carried out by the Director of Polines Ir. Supriyadi, MT and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment UKM, Prof. Dato Dr. Abdul Wahhab. It was agreed to cooperate in research, exchange of students and lecturers. For the implementation of the 2018 ITC seminar, it is planned to take place in Semarang with Polines as the host.
