Polines Wins 1st Place in Central Java Body Design Competition 2016

The 2016 Central Java Body Design Competition which took place at the Central Java Industry and Trade Office on November 30, 2016 carried the theme:

"strengthening the global car body industry in Central Java through continuous creativity and design innovation".

The objectives of this food truck design competition are:

1. Increase Creativity and innovation in terms of design for the body industry.

2. Promotion event for the Body Industry in Central Java.

3. Increasing the attraction for the community in terms of creating creativity in the body.

The food truck will be used by the Department of Industry and Trade for major events in Central Java.

This design competition is divided into 2 categories of contestants, namely categories for students and students, and categories for the general public or professionals. There are 97 designs that have been submitted. 84 designs from students/students and 13 designs from general/professionals. In this competition, the 5 best designs were selected to participate in the final round, namely the presentation of the participants' designs that had been designed for 20 days. This competition considers all aspects, including functional aspects and safety aspects. The design is in the form of exterior and interior as well as the selection of the right material and the design must contain strong Central Java elements.

The Engineering Team of Semarang State Polytechnic (TEOPS) won first place consisting of 2 members:

1.    Radhitya Kurniawan (D3-MECHNICAL ENGINEERING study program)

2.    Mochamad Rizal Amrullah (D3-MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Study Program)

The results of the competition scores from the Student/student category:

1. POLINES with a score of 76

2. SMK 1 ADIWERNA TEGAL with a score of 66

3. DIPONEGORO UNIVERSITY with a score of 65

 

Highest score results from the General/Professional category:

1. New Armada Score 75

 The final score of the competition proves that the design quality of POLINES students is not inferior to industrial class designs.
