SEMARANG — Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) has further strengthened its collaborative network by signing memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with various strategic partners, both domestic and international. The event was held at the Polines Multipurpose Building as part of the VocaTech Edu Fair 2026 on Tuesday (May 5, 2026).
The signing took place in several sessions, reflecting Polines' commitment to building cross-sector synergy.
In the first session, Polines collaborated with the local government through Dr. Sadimin, S.Pd., M.Eng., and Ahmad Azis, SE, M.Si., Head of the Central Java Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office. This collaboration focused on improving the quality of vocational education and workforce readiness.
The second session highlighted the international collaboration with Guangxi Polytechnic of Construction. The signing took place in a hybrid format, with the partner participating online, while Polines representatives signed the agreement in person at the event, witnessed by the management and invited guests.
Furthermore, in the third session, Polines signed cooperation agreements with a number of industrial partners and institutions, including the Kendal Special Economic Zone (KEK) through Puput Handayani, HOPE International represented by Scott Han Xu, SEAMOLEC represented by Dipl. Ing (BA) Cahya Kusuma Ratih, S.ST., MT, PT Parralaxnet Siber Indonesia through Mazhar Durrani, PT Paragon Technology & Innovation represented by Sony Hidajat, and the Central Java Indonesia Stock Exchange through Fanny Rifqi.
In the fourth session, the collaboration was expanded with educational institutions, namely Rachmat Arnanda, SH, MH, M.Kn., a representative of Management and Science University, Anang Widigdyo, M.Pt., as Director of Putra Sang Fajar State Community Academy in Blitar, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Joko Triyono, ST, MT, as Director of Pacitan State Community Academy.
The series of activities closed with the presentation of plaques by the Director of Polines to all partners as a form of appreciation and a symbol of the commitment to the cooperation that had been established.
Through the signing of this MoU, Polines affirms its strategic steps in strengthening national and international collaboration to support the development of vocational education that is adaptive, innovative, and aligned with the needs of the industrial world.
