SEMARANG – Deputy Director for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs of Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) Dr. Karnowahadi, SE, MM represented the Director of Polines in the Working Visit (Kunker) Recess agenda of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives which was held at the Dharma Satya Hall, Building B, 2nd floor, Semarang Regency Regional Secretariat, Monday (23/2/2026).
The activity, which is part of the Third Session Period of the 2025–2026 Session Year, was attended by central and regional government officials, representatives of ministries/institutions, and stakeholders in the education, culture, youth, sports, libraries, research, and innovation sectors.

The recess working visit aimed to gather input and obtain factual data regarding the implementation of programs and policies in the education and culture sectors in the region. This forum provided a dialogue space between Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), local governments, and educational institutions, including state and private universities in Central Java.
On that occasion, the Deputy Director for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs also participated in a discussion and question-and-answer session led by the Chair of the Working Visit Team of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Various strategic issues were discussed, including strengthening vocational education, improving graduate competencies to align with industry needs, and supporting applied research and innovation based on regional needs.
Through active participation in this agenda, Polines hopes to continue to synergize with the central and regional governments in promoting higher education policies that are oriented towards strengthening the nation's competitiveness.
The activity proceeded smoothly and interactively, with the hope that the results of this working visit can serve as evaluation material as well as strategic recommendations for policy formulation at the national level.
