SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a visit from SMA Plus Islamic Village, Tangerang, Banten, which took place at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT), Polines Campus, Monday (12/1/2026).
The group from SMA Plus Islamic Village was welcomed directly by Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM as Deputy Director of Student Affairs and Alumni of Polines, accompanied by Suwarno, S.Sos., MIKom Head of Academic, Student Affairs, and Cooperation.
In his remarks, the Deputy Director for Student Affairs and Alumni expressed his appreciation for the visit and hoped that this activity would provide real benefits for the students.
"We welcome the visit from SMA Plus Islamic Village. Through this activity, we hope the students will gain a comprehensive understanding of vocational education at Polines and be motivated to continue their studies at a higher level," he said.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMA Plus Islamic Village expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome given by the Polines leadership.
"We express our gratitude for the warm welcome from Polines. This visit was a valuable experience for the students, providing them with a closer look at the world of vocational higher education and the various educational opportunities available," he said.
The activity continued with a presentation of Polines' profile by the Polines Promotion Team, delivered by Bayu Setyo Nugroho, S.ST., MM, Mona Inayah Pratiwi, SE, MM, and Yusuf Hendrawanto, M.Pd. The presentation included an introduction to the majors, the advantages of vocational education, learning support facilities, and the prospects for Polines graduates.
"Polines prepares graduates who are not only academically superior, but also work-ready and competitive in the industrial world," explained Mona when delivering promotional materials.
The students' enthusiasm was evident throughout the event, especially during the department introduction session and interactive discussions about lectures and student life at Polines.
The visit concluded with the presentation of souvenirs as a memento, followed by a group photo session with the Polines leadership, accompanying teachers, and students of SMA Plus Islamic Village.
