SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a comparative study visit (benchmarking) from Politeknik Negeri Indramayu (Polindra) in order to strengthen quality assurance and learning development (PMPP), which took place at the Semarang State Polytechnic Directorate Building, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (1/12/2025).
The group from Politeknik Negeri Indramayu led by Fauzan Amri, S.Si., MT was welcomed directly by the Director of Polines Dr. Lambang Goro, ST, MT, accompanied by the Head of the Center for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (PMPP) Polines Sindung HW Sasono, BSEE., M.Eng.Sc.
In his remarks, the Director of Polines expressed his appreciation for the visit as a form of synergy between vocational colleges in improving the quality of educational governance, particularly in the areas of quality assurance systems and learning development.
"I am very pleased to have guests like this, as this benchmarking session serves as a strategic forum for sharing experiences and best practices in PMPP management, from internal quality assurance systems to strengthening learning," he said.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Indramayu State Polytechnic group, Fauzan Amri, S.Si., MT, said that this visit was a strategic momentum to deepen understanding regarding PMPP management, the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), and the development of learning that is aligned with the needs of the industrial world.
"We hope to gain the best practices in quality assurance management and learning development at Polines, which we can then adapt at Indramayu State Polytechnic," he explained.
The discussion took place interactively through a question and answer session that discussed strengthening PMPP governance, strategies for improving learning quality, and the use of technology to support academic monitoring and evaluation.
The benchmarking activity concluded with a group photo and the handover of souvenirs as a symbol of friendship and strengthening cooperation between Polines and Indramayu State Polytechnic.
