Polines Holds 2025 Job Fair, Featuring 15 Leading Companies

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) held its 2025 Polines Job Fair on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, on the first floor of the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) at the Polines Campus in Tembalang, Semarang. The two-day event was officially opened by Polines Director Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, and marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the leadership and representatives of participating companies.

With the theme "Show Your Skills, Build Your Future"The 2025 Polines Jobfair brings together the industrial world with final year students, Polines alumni, and the wider community who are looking for job opportunities.

In his remarks, the Director of Polines emphasized that the Jobfair is a concrete manifestation of collaboration between vocational education and the industrial world.

"We encourage graduates to be bold, showcase their best skills, and build direct connections with industry. This is the first step in building a bright career future," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive, Bayu Setyo Nugroho, S.ST., MM, delivered a report on the activities, stating that the 2025 Polines Job Fair featured 15 companies from various sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, garments, information technology, and automotive. Furthermore, as of this year, 61 national and multinational companies have partnered with Polines to recruit graduates.

Five major companies also held Campus Hiring especially for Polines alumni this month, namely Pertamina Patra Niaga, Pertamina International Refinery, Pertamina Gas, Suzuki, and Yasunli Abadi.

Participant enthusiasm was high, with the number of registrants reaching 3,825, or three times the number in 2024. This achievement is a record high in the history of the Polines Job Fair.

Company representative, Alfi Hasanah from Bank BRI expressed his appreciation for this event.

"We truly appreciate Polines' continued production of outstanding, work-ready graduates. Through this job fair, BRI hopes to identify the best talents capable of contributing to the advancement of the national banking sector. This kind of collaboration is crucial for bridging industry needs and the immense potential of vocational education," he said.
