Polines is the Selected Campus for PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional's "Goes to Campus 2025" Program.

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) has officially become the campus of choice in the strategic program “Goes to Campus 2025", held by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI), Friday (July 25, 2025) at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) on the Polines Campus in Tembalang, Semarang City. This event is an important platform for strengthening the synergy between vocational education and the national energy industry.

In his remarks, Polines Director Dr. Garup Lambang Goro, ST, MT expressed his gratitude and appreciation to PT KPI.

"Thank you for your trust in Polines as the first campus in Central Java selected to be part of this strategic program. This proves that Polines is recognized as a vocational campus capable of producing competent, work-ready graduates," he said.

He also emphasized that Polines has a special pathway in the form of an Alumni Prospect List, which provides an opportunity for graduates to take part in the process. campus hiring exclusively, including in the PT KPI environment.

"I noted that 39 Polines graduates have been accepted to work at KPI during the 2023–2025 period. This is an extraordinary achievement for Polines," he said.

The event consists of two main sessions, namely Career Talk with the KPI management team in the morning and Alumni Sharing Session during the day with the theme “From Campus to Corporate Life", presenting Polines alumni who are now pursuing careers at Pertamina.

The event was also attended by KPI's Director of Human Resources and Business Support, Tenny Elfrida, KPI's VP of Procurement, Project Contract, and Services, Muchamad Lutfi, and KPI's Manager of HC Operations, Yulianto. Both shared insights regarding the recruitment process and the challenges of working in the oil and gas industry. ang
