SEMARANG — Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) officially signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Pandanaran University (Unpand) Semarang in order to strengthen synergy in the fields of education, research, and community service.
The signing took place at the Polines Campus Directorate Building, Tembalang, Semarang City, Thursday (12/6/2025). This activity was attended by the Director of Polines Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT, accompanied by the Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dianita Ratna K., ST, MT Meanwhile, from Pandanaran University, Rektor Agustien Zulaidah, ST, MT, was present in person accompanied by a number of structural officials.
In his remarks, the Director of Polines said that this collaboration is a concrete form of collaboration between universities in facing the challenges of vocational education and research-based technology development.
"This collaboration opens up great opportunities for both institutions to share resources, strengthen research collaboration, and provide real contributions to the community through community service programs, in addition we are open to collaboration in any field for the advancement of education," he said.
The Chancellor of Unpand also expressed his hope that this synergy can be followed up with real and sustainable programs.
"We hope that this collaboration will not just stop on paper, but will soon be realized in the form of mutually beneficial activities that are beneficial for students, lecturers, and the wider community," he said.
The signing of the MoU and MoA marks the beginning of a series of collaborations that will be implemented in the near future. Both institutions agree to continue expanding the scope of collaboration to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia. Ang/Jul
