Polines and Padjajaran Polytechnic ICB Bandung Build Synergy through Benchmarking Visits

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a benchmarking visit from Politeknik Padjajaran ICB Bandung. Located at the Polines Campus Directorate Building, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (5/27/2025), the group was welcomed directly by the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs of Polines, Dr. Samuel Beta Kuntarjo, Ing.Tech., MT, accompanied by the Secretary of the Accounting Department and the Study Program Coordinator at the Accounting Department.

This visit aims to obtain information and deeper understanding regarding the operational management of the curriculum in the Diploma III and Applied Bachelor of Accounting study programs at Polines. In addition, the group also reviewed the completeness of the practical laboratory owned by the Polines Accounting Department as part of an effort to improve the quality of learning in their respective institutions.

In his remarks, the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs of Polines appreciated the presence of the team from the Padjajaran ICB Bandung Polytechnic and expressed his hope that this visit could strengthen collaboration between vocational colleges in improving the quality of education and teaching.

Meanwhile, Dr. Gunadi, SE, MM, CFTax as Director of Politeknik Padjajaran ICB Bandung, in his speech expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from the Polines leadership. He said that this visit was part of his institution's commitment to continue improving the quality of vocational education, especially in the field of accounting.

"We see Polines as one of the leading vocational institutions that already has a good learning system and laboratory facilities. We hope that the results of this visit can be adopted and adjusted to the development needs on our campus," he said.

Not only that, this meeting also became the initial step in exploring cooperation through the submission of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Polines Accounting Department and the Padjajaran ICB Bandung Polytechnic.

The visit was closed with a discussion session, handover of souvenirs from each institution, and a group photo as a symbol of cooperation and friendship between vocational education institutions. Ang/Jul
