Polines Wins 6 Awards at UB Halal Metric Awards 2025

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) has once again made a proud achievement on the national stage by winning an award at the UB Halal Metric Awards 2025 event held by Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Monday (4/21/2025). This award is a form of recognition of Polines' commitment to supporting the development of the halal ecosystem in the field of vocational education.

Based on the results of the UB Halal Metric 2025 ranking, Polines managed to rank 4th out of 7 Polytechnics overall. Not only that, Polines also achieved superior positions in a number of assessment indicators, namely:

  1. Overall Ranking : Ranked 4th out of 7 polytechnics
  2. Indicator Policy : Ranked 6th out of 7 polytechnics
  3. Education Indicators : : Rank 2 out of 7 polytechnics (Silver)
  4. Research & Community Services Indicators : Rank 3 out of 7 polytechnics (Bronze)
  5. Infrastructure Indicators : Rank 2 out of 7 polytechnics (Silver)
  6. Halal Ecosystem & Perspective Indicator : Rank 3 out of 7 polytechnics (Bronze)

Director of Polines Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT, expressed her appreciation for the award received. "Alhamdulillah, this achievement is real proof that Polines is committed to supporting the development of a sustainable halal ecosystem through education, research, and services to the community. We are grateful for the appreciation given by Universitas Brawijaya, and this will be a motivation for us to continue to improve the quality of the institution in various aspects," she said.

The UB Halal Metric Awards 2025 event itself is part of the world's first halal-based international ranking system launched by Brawijaya University since January 2024. This system assesses institutions based on five main indicators: policy, education, research and community service, infrastructure, and the halal ecosystem and its perspectives.

With this achievement, Polines will continue to strengthen its commitment to realizing vocational education that is not only academically superior, but also in line with inclusive and competitive halal principles.
