Polines Introduces Vocational Education and PMB 2025 Pathway to El-Qolam 2 Tangerang High School Students

SEMARANG – Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) received a visit from El-Qolam 2 Tangerang High School at the Polines Integrated Lecture Building (GKT), Tuesday (4/2/2025). This visit aims to provide students with insight into vocational education and the new student admission pathway through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT-UTBK) and the 2025 independent pathway.

Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems, Dianita Ratna K., ST., MT., welcomed the group directly and gave a presentation on the advantages of vocational education at Polines. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of practical skills for graduates to be able to compete in the industrial world.

"Polines focuses on vocational education that prioritizes practice-based learning, so that graduates are ready to work and highly competitive in the industry," he explained.

In addition to introducing the learning system and study programs at Polines, students also received information about college entrance pathways through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT-UTBK) and the 2025 independent pathway. Juli Widiyanto, SAP. as the Polines Promotion Team provided an explanation regarding the selection mechanism, registration requirements, and strategies so that students can prepare themselves well. This session received a positive response, as seen from the enthusiasm of students in asking various questions, ranging from scholarship opportunities to career prospects for Polines graduates.

The event was closed with the handover of souvenirs and a group photo. It is hoped that through this visit, SMA El-Qolam 2 Tangerang students will increasingly understand the benefits of vocational education and have a clearer picture in determining their choice of further studies. ang
