SEMARANG – Semarang State Polytechnic (Polines) once again received visits from schools who wanted to know more about the world of vocational education. Taking place at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) Polines Campus, Friday (1/24/2025) a group from SMA IT Andalus Bogor visited Polines and was warmly welcomed by Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM as Deputy Director of Student Affairs and Alumni.
During the visit, the Deputy Director of Student Affairs and Alumni delivered a presentation about Polines as a leading vocational higher education institution that has competency-based study programs and is oriented towards the needs of the work world. The group of students and teachers also got an overview of the learning system at Polines which is supported by modern facilities and cooperation with various industries.
In addition to the welcoming by the Deputy Director, Juli Widiyanto, SAP. Polines Public Relations, Mona Inayah Pratiwi, SE, MM and Yusuf Hendrawanto, M.Pd. the Polines promotion team also introduced further the various study programs, facilities, and student activities at Polines. The promotion team also explained the registration mechanism for prospective new students through the SMBP pathway, achievements that Polines has achieved, and various career opportunities that can be achieved by Polines graduates.
Through this visit, it is expected that students of SMA IT Andalus Bogor can better understand the advantages of vocational education at Polines and be motivated to continue their education to a higher level at Polines. The visit was closed with an interactive question and answer session and a group photo, which added enthusiasm and a positive impression to all participants.
Polines continues to be committed to opening up collaboration opportunities with various high schools in order to prepare a superior young generation that is ready to compete in the industrial world. ang
