Polines SEAMEO SEAMOLEC Sepakat Jalin Kerjasama

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) officially established a strategic partnership with Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Open Learning Center (SEAMEO SEAMOLEC) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Polines Campus Directorate, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (2/12/2024).

The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Director of Polines through the Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems Dianita Ratna Kusumastuti, ST, MT and the Director of SEAMEO SEAMOLEC Dr. Wahyudi. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is an effort to strengthen the development of vocational education.

In his remarks, the Director of Polines through the Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems revealed that this collaboration will provide great benefits for the development of the quality of education at Polines.

"The partnership with SEAMEO SEAMOLEC opens up great opportunities for Polines to expand the scope of learning, strengthen connectivity with institutions in Southeast Asia, and encourage digitalization in the vocational education process," he said.

The Director of SEAMEO SEAMOLEC expressed his appreciation for Polines as a Vocational College that is proactive in building regional cooperation.

"We are confident that Polines is capable of becoming a strategic partner in driving the growth of vocational education, not only in Indonesia, but also in the Southeast Asia region," he said.

With this collaboration, Polines hopes to continue producing graduates who are not only competent in their fields, but also able to compete at the international level. This MoU also confirms Polines' commitment to becoming a pioneer in vocational education that is adaptive to the development of the times.

The MoU signing ceremony ended with a group photo session and a discussion of plans for implementing cooperation in the near future.ang/jul)
