SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) held the inauguration of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Administrator Officers, and Supervisory Officers at the Integrated Lecture Building of the Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City, Monday (2/12/2024). Polines Director Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT, inaugurated Dedi Budi Setiawan, ST, MT as the Head of the Civil Engineering Department for the 2024-2028 Period. In addition, the Administrator and Supervisory Officers were also inaugurated, namely: Supanto, SE, M.Sc. as Head of the Planning, General and Finance Section, Suwarno, S.Sos., M.Kom. as Head of the Academic, Student Affairs and Cooperation Section, Nugroho Joko Usito, S.Kom., M.Kom as Head of the Academic Sub-Section and Eko Setyawan, S.Kom as Head of the General Sub-Section.
In his speech, the Director of Polines expressed great hope to the Head of the Civil Engineering Department to bring innovation and improve academic quality in the Civil Engineering Department. "We are sure that the new leadership will be able to make this department one of the leading departments in Polines," he said.
In addition to the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, the inauguration also involved Administrator and Supervisory Officers who have important roles in supporting the smooth operation of Polines. The Director hopes that the newly inaugurated officials can carry out their mandate well and contribute to improving the quality of Polines governance.
The event was closed with a message from the Director of Polines emphasizing the importance of integrity and professionalism in every task undertaken.
"We hope that the newly appointed officials can be the main drivers in realizing the vision and mission of Polines," concluded the Director.
With this new leadership formation, Polines is increasingly optimistic in facing challenges and continues to be committed to producing competent and superior vocational graduates. (ang/jul)
