Instilling Polytechnic Values, New CPNS and PPPK Polines Participate in Induction Activities

SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) held an Induction Program for Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) starting from 18-22 November 2024 at the Applied Masters Building (MST), Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City. The activity, which was attended by 38 participants, was officially opened by Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT as Director of Polines, who emphasized the importance of induction as part of the initial preparation to support the performance of new employees.

In his remarks, the Director of Polines said that this induction program was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding to CPNS and PPPK regarding the vision, mission, values, and work culture in the Polines environment.

"We hope that this program can strengthen competency and provide adequate provisions for new employees in carrying out their duties," he said.

As part of the series of activities, each Deputy Director also delivered a presentation related to their field. Dr. Samuel Beta Kuntarjo, Ing.Tech., MT Deputy Director for Academic Affairs explained academic policies and strategies, while Dr. Karnowahadi, SE, MM Deputy Director Deputy Director for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs discussed financial management, human resources, and facilities and infrastructure. Aris Sunindyo, SE, MM Deputy Director for Student Affairs and Alumni explained student programs and talent development, while Dianita Ratna K., ST., MT. Deputy Director for Cooperation, Public Relations, and Information Systems provided insight into cooperation, promotion, and information systems that support campus operations.

The CPNS and PPPK Polines Induction Program includes various activities, ranging from introduction to organizational structure, regulations, to skills training that supports academic and administrative services on campus. In addition, participants also receive guidance on work ethics and innovation in the vocational education sector.

This activity is expected to accelerate the adaptation process of new employees, so that they can provide optimal contributions to the development of Polines in the future. (ang/jul)
