SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a benchmarking visit from the Finance and Banking Study Program of Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ). This visit was officially welcomed by Dr. Karnowahadi, SE, MM as Deputy Director of Planning, Finance, and General Affairs of Polines along with staff at the Polines Campus Directorate, Tembalang, Semarang City, Wednesday (10/23/24).
In his remarks, the Deputy Director of Planning, Finance, and General Affairs of Polines expressed his appreciation for the visit by the team from the Jakarta State Polytechnic. "We really appreciate this initiative as a form of collaboration and exchange of knowledge between vocational higher education. Hopefully, with this visit, we can learn from each other and improve the quality of education, especially in the fields of finance and banking," he said.
The Head of the Delegation from the Jakarta State Polytechnic, expressed his hope that this benchmarking visit would provide significant benefits for both vocational colleges.
"Our main goal is to gain new insights into best practices at Polines, especially in the management of the Finance and Banking study program. We are confident that this exchange of ideas and experiences will contribute positively to academic development on our campus," he said.
This benchmarking activity aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Polines and Jakarta State Polytechnic, as well as to exchange experiences in managing study programs, teaching methods, and implementing curriculum in the fields of finance and banking.
The visit was closed with the handover of souvenirs between the two institutions as a symbol of appreciation and a memento of the cooperation and visit that had been carried out. ang
