Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) has once again opened its doors to the younger generation in an effort to introduce the world of vocational higher education. On Monday (14/10/2024), Polines received a visit from students and teachers of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan, Sidoarjo, East Java at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT), Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang City. This visit aims to provide deeper insight into the study programs offered, the facilities available, and the advantages of vocational education at Polines.
The activity began with a speech by Polines Public Relations Juli Widiyanto, SAP, who explained the profile of Polines as one of the leading vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of practical skills that can support graduates' careers in the industrial world.
"We are very proud to be able to convey a clear picture of how Polines prepares Polines students for the world of work through a practical approach," he concluded.
Hartatik, S.Pd, Principal of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Tulangan Sidoarjo appreciated the warm welcome from Polines and hoped that this visit could motivate his students to continue their education to a higher level, especially in the vocational field.
The students appeared enthusiastic during the Q&A session. They asked about the career prospects of Polines graduates and the achievements that have been achieved by the students.
The visit was closed with both parties exchanging souvenirs as a symbol of appreciation.
