SEMARANG – Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a reference study visit from Surabaya State Electronic Polytechnic (PENS) at the Polines Campus Directorate Building, Tembalang, Semarang, Tuesday (8/20/2024). This visit was in order to study the financial management procedures of the Public Service Agency (BLU) at Polines.
The visit from PENS was welcomed directly by Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT as the Director of Polines who expressed her gratitude and appreciation for PENS' trust in choosing Polines as a reference study destination.
"We hope that this visit can be a beneficial moment for both parties to learn from each other and share experiences in better financial management," said the Director of Polines.
During this visit, the group from PENS led by Tri Harsono, S.Si., M.Kom., Ph.D. as Deputy Director of General Affairs and Finance said that this visit was to improve the capacity and capability of staff in the implementation of BLU financial management.
"We would like to thank you for your welcome, PENS would like to have an in-depth discussion with the Polines finance team regarding various important aspects in BLU financial management including financial reporting systems, audit mechanisms, internal controls, and effective and efficient budget management strategies," he explained. At the end of the visit, the two vocational colleges gave each other souvenirs as a symbol of commitment to continue to strengthen relations and support each other in achieving superior financial governance.
