SEMARANG – Hundreds of worshipers packed the Polines Bersholawat event which was held on Monday (29/7/2024) evening at the Green Field, Politeknik Negeri Semarang Campus, Tembalang, Semarang. Polines Bersholawat this time was held with Habib Muhammad bin Farid Al Muthohar and Kyai Zaman Assekhal accompanied by hadroh musical instruments from Gandrung Nabi.
In this event, Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT as Director of Polines was present along with the leadership, and Saniman Widodo, SE., MM Chair of the Polines Senate.
In his speech, Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, ST, MT, Director of Polines, said that the Polines Bersholawat event is a series of events for the 42nd Polines Anniversary with the hope that the Polines campus will receive blessings so that it can develop further in the future.
"I would like to thank the organizing committee for making this event possible, thank you also to the students who were involved in Polines Bersholawat. "If I'm not mistaken, this activity was last held in 2019, thank God, in 2024, with the initiation of students and the Polines Bersholawat event committee, it can again be carried out well and smoothly," he said.
Apart from that, he also said that the Polines Berholawat was not only an opportunity to gain blessings, but also to strengthen ties between the congregation and the Polines academic community.
"Hopefully with this momentum, hopefully we will become closer to Allah SWT and friendship will continue to exist," he said.
Kyai Zaman Assekhal, who led the Polines Bersholawat expressed his hope that this activity would be an intermediary for the prayers of the congregation to be answered.
"Hopefully the knowledge gained from Polines can be useful for religion and the nation," he explained.
The Polines Bersholawat event was not only attended by academics and students in the Polines area, but many congregations attended from various regions. The congregation looked solemn following the series of prayers and prayers that were being sung. The event closed with a joint prayer, asking for Allah SWT's mercy and blessings for the entire congregation and for the progress of Polines. (ang/jul)
