Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) received a visit from NCUT (National Chin-Yi University of Technology) Taiwan. During this visit, Dr. Win-Jet Luo as Vice President of NCUT Taiwan was officially welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Mukhlisin, MT (Polines International Affairs Coordinator) at the Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) Floor 2, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang, Wednesday (26/6/2024). Also present at this event were department heads, study program heads, and Polines student representatives.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Mukhlisin, MT welcomed this visit. "Increasing collaboration with international universities," he said. Polines will collaborate with NCUT (National Chin-Yi University of Technology).
Meanwhile, Dr. Win-Jet Luo as Vice President of NCUT Taiwan in his speech said that this visit was in order to offer scholarships at his campus. "We offer scholarship programs including the TEEP (Taiwan Education Experience Program), 2+I scholarship program, master's degree program and doctoral program," he explained. As well as a partnership between both schools Ideas for International Collaboration.
This collaboration was carried out with the aim of expanding the network for the development of good knowledge hard skills nor soft skills for students and lecturers at both universities. In the presentation and question and answer session, the enthusiasm of the participants was visible in getting scholarship information from NCUT and opportunities to study at universities in Taiwan.
